Fancy Jewelry & loan is one of the oldest pawnshops in the South Bay area. First established in 1993, Fancy Jewelry & Loan has always been a family-owned business serving the local community with the utmost respect and confidentiality. In 2018 Fancy Jewelry & Loan went under new management. Under the guidance of Rene, the store has undergone tremendous growth.

OUR TEAM
Rene
Rene has been in the customer service field since 2010 and has been in the Pawn industry since 2016. Rene loves helping out people and immediately fell in love with being a Pawnbroker. Rene applies ethical principles to his day to day job and that has acquired Rene many customers throughout his new career. When Rene isn’t writing a loan or selling an item at the Pawnshop, Rene is either at home spending quality time with his family or he is at the gym. Rene also loves to watch documentaries and he is pro-green and cares about his environment.
Mario
Mario is a finance major graduate from Dominguez Hills University and has been in the Pawn industry for more than a decade. Mario’s dedication to the store is very unique and strives to serve everyone with honesty and integrity in every single transaction. Both of these qualities plus many more have helped Mario earned a positive reputation in the industry and trust and respect from his clients. On Mario’s free time, he enjoys reading autobiographies, spending quality time with his family, helping others, and playing soccer. Mario also enjoys coin collecting.
Randy
Randy is a technology enthusiast who was raised around electronics from an early age. Being a relatively new face to the pawn industry, he has quickly come up to speed, and endeavors to find new ways to help customers with a positive and kind attitude. In Randy’s free time, he enjoys helping others through volunteering. When he’s not volunteering, Randy is a maker at heart, always looking to design and bring his ideas to life.
Angel
Angel brings a thoughtful, people-focused approach to the pawn industry. As a Psychology major at California State University, Dominguez Hills, he understands how to communicate and connect with customers, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. He enjoys learning new skills, allowing him to assist with a wide range of items, and his hobbies—reading and sewing—reflect his patience and attention to detail. A soccer fan at heart, Angel brings energy and a team-oriented mindset to the shop, always focused on making each customer’s experience smooth, clear, and positive.

Jose
Jose brings a positive, driven energy to the shop and takes pride in helping customers with a smooth and straightforward experience. As a Business Administration student, he has a strong understanding of value and decision-making, which helps him guide customers confidently whether they’re getting a loan or making a purchase. Known for taking initiative, Jose is always one step ahead—ready to help without needing to be asked. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and cooking, hobbies that reflect his independence, discipline, and attention to detail, all of which carry over into the way he serves customers every day.
